LOCATION: This role reports on-site and dispatches from an East Baltimore City facility.
Our client is a water restoration franchise looking to hire a knowledgeable leader to oversee all aspects of commercial and residential restoration projects in the field. This position leads an internal team as well as serve as the point person on site for project vendors, contractors, and temporary staff. This is a front-line leadership position with responsibilities centered around customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development.
HOURS & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This is a full-time position working 7:00 a.m. β 5:00 p.m., Monday β Friday, 45 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including evenings and weekends, as needed. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop scope of work for projects and review estimates
- Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate
- Manage the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the client experience and overall client satisfaction
- Provide priority response to potential customers
- Schedule crews and resources to provide service on active projects
- Recruit, train, and manage production staff
- Manage production and restoration equipment, assets, and expenses
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associates or Bachelorβs degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in water restoration, disaster recovery, and flood damage recovery and clean up
- Candidates with the following industry certifications and training receive top consideration (IIWRT, IICRC, Commercial Drying; Residential Drying)
- Minimum 2-3 years year of prior management and/or supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and management skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a management position occasionally working in an office environment; However, the bulk of this role requires frequent field visits and field management at job sites. Job site activities may involve lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, utilizing scaffolding or lifts, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working around chemicals, and working overhead.
While performing occasional job site duties, this role may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as heat, noxious odors, etc. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites may be loud. The employee will be required to occasionally wear a respirator for their safety.
This is a Full-Time role with competitive pay and benefits contingent on relevant experience.
