Quality Assurance Analyst IHiring Range $65,769.60 to $87,692.80Pay Range $65,769.60 to $98,654.40Quality Assurance Analyst IIHiring Range $75,296.00 to $100,401.60Pay Range $75,296.00 to $112,964.80Summary of Job Responsibilities:The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for providing support corporate wide to both internal and external customer-owners and employees in areas of risk management, legal receipts, accreditation, federal tort claims, employee health and infection control.The QA Analyst works with internal and external partners of SCF including customer-owners, accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, and employees. They work with senior leadership and committees at all levels and across all divisions/departments providing feedback, producing data and reports in order to identify, develop, and improve systems and processes to assure high quality of care throughout SCF. QA analysts are responsible for monitoring and maintaining QA processes and reporting systems, procedures, and controls to meet established performance, quality, risk, accreditation, infection control, employee health and safety standards. They are responsible for monitoring implemented internal processes necessary to achieve and/or maintain applicable Federal, State, and Municipal regulations/standards, external certifications, and licensures and accreditations.The QA Analyst is required to apply critical thinking to make independent decisions when assisting employees and customer-owners and are subject matter experts with focused knowledge who provide technical support and build relationships across the organization.This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experience. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.Qualifications:SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:Associate degree; OR equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.1. Associate degree; OR equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.2. Two (2) years of healthcare experience.3. Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in quality assurance or quality improvement.Additional Qualifications for Quality Assurance Analyst II: 1. Three (3) years demonstrated proficiency as a QA Analyst at SCF; OR certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQNative Preference: Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training.
