Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is critical for the efficient operation of our warehouse, managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. Your duties will include inspecting goods for damage, stocking shelves, and ensuring inventory accuracy. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, as it involves significant lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Accurately document all received and shipped items.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and data entry.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Keep the receiving and shipping areas clean and organized.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and logistics workflow.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
