About
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This is a crucial position within our warehouse operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an efficient workflow and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure picked items match order specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
