Seeking a reliable Picker/Packer for our facility in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, directly impacting our **Logistics** efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists and scanners.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify order details against packed items for accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **Safety**-conscious work area.
- Adhere to all **Logistics** and **Safety** procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any **Safety** concerns or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and **Lifting** up to 35 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of **Logistics** operations and warehouse **Safety** practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using RF scanners.
- Willingness to wear provided **PPE**.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for **Safety** and productivity.
