Job Summary:
Join our efficient warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Material Handler! We're looking for individuals who can manage the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow. This role is crucial for the effectiveness of our logistics operations, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. You'll be responsible for handling a variety of materials and ensuring they are in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage locations using appropriate equipment.
  • Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical aids.
  • Verify the quantity and identity of materials received and shipped.
  • Stage materials for production, assembly, or shipping departments.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper placement and record-keeping.
  • Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company guidelines, including necessary certifications.
  • Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, removing obstructions and debris.
  • The ability to perform frequent Lifting of materials weighing up to 70 lbs is a key part of this role.
  • Support the efficient functioning of our internal logistics and supply chain.
  • Participate in cycle counts and other inventory management activities.
  • Engage in continuous training to improve material handling techniques and safety awareness.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and other industrial equipment is essential.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
