We are seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment within our warehouse. Your attention to detail is key to minimizing errors and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and systems to efficiently manage your picking tasks. Safety is our utmost priority; all employees must adhere to strict safety guidelines and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires physical capability, including regular lifting, standing, and moving throughout the facility. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and have a strong work ethic. Prior experience in order picking or warehouse settings is preferred, but we are committed to training enthusiastic candidates. A basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles will be beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify product identification and quantities before proceeding.
- Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Meet individual and team performance goals for picking efficiency.
- Participate in inventory cycle counting and stock checks.
- Support overall warehouse logistics by ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is advantageous.
- Capability to perform frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Awareness of warehouse safety standards and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to work responsibilities.
- A solid understanding of logistics flow and order processing is a plus.
