About
We are seeking diligent Warehouse Workers to join our bustling distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, involving the handling, processing, and movement of goods within the facility. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including receiving inbound shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for outgoing transport. We are looking for individuals who prioritize safety and efficiency in their daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory shipments.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Stage orders for shipping and assist with loading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic logistics is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Proficiency in using safety equipment and wearing appropriate PPE.
