Responsibilities:
- Move materials, equipment, and supplies within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Organize and stock materials in designated storage areas.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support logistics operations by performing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
