Join our fast-paced logistics team in San Francisco, California, as a Material Handler. This role is essential for the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing various materials, utilizing equipment like pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification required for forklift operation). Ensuring the safe and orderly storage of inventory is a primary focus, along with maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment. Adherence to all company Safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is critical. This position demands physical capability, including significant Lifting and moving of materials, so knowledge of safe Lifting techniques is a must. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of Safety and efficiency in our logistics operations. Your expertise in handling materials will directly contribute to our operational success. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and verifying incoming materials.
- Organizing and storing inventory in designated locations.
- Retrieving materials for production or shipment.
- Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Conducting regular safety checks of equipment and work areas.
- Adhering to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Wearing and maintaining required PPE.
- Assisting with inventory management and record-keeping.
