As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This involves navigating our warehouse using scanning technology, identifying items, and ensuring the correct quantities are gathered. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order details.
- Pack orders carefully and securely for shipment.
- Stage orders for loading onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Contribute to team goals and objectives within the logistics department.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
