About
We are seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will play a key part in our Logistics operations, ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed correctly and dispatched on time. You'll be responsible for accurate documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outbound shipping documentation, including labels and bills of lading.
- Verify shipping information for accuracy and completeness.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide status updates as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing packages to ensure they are properly packed and labeled.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and records.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and external partners.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other shipping-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related Logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
