Join our vibrant logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and efficient individuals to fulfill customer orders accurately and quickly. Your primary responsibilities will involve picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work in a fast-paced environment where Safety is a top priority. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This position involves significant physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order lists.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and stand for long shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
