Are you a motivated and experienced Material Handler seeking a new challenge in Charlotte, North Carolina? Join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our state-of-the-art warehouse. This role is critical to our logistics infrastructure, involving the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse as directed.
- Stage materials accurately for production, order fulfillment, or shipping.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times and follow established safe Lifting procedures.
- Support the broader logistics team with various warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is essential.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to safety regulations, including PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
