We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our Durham, North Carolina location! This vital role supports our Logistics operations by ensuring all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, verifying order accuracy, and managing shipment tracking. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are key to ensuring timely and correct deliveries. We are committed to Safety in the workplace, and all employees must follow established Safety guidelines and wear the necessary PPE. While not solely a physical role, some Lifting may be required. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, LTL).
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Track outgoing shipments and provide updates.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipments.
- Maintain shipping records and files.
- Assist with receiving incoming shipments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Support the overall Logistics workflow.
- Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies.
