Join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. You will operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, move products to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to operational procedures are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve pallets of goods.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and system updates.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Proven experience operating forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with required PPE , such as safety shoes and vests.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
