We are seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Warehouse Workers to join our facility in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of essential tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, sort, and put away incoming stock accurately.
- Pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or electronic pick lists.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage outgoing shipments and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Wear all required PPE correctly throughout the shift.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Safety practices.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
