About
We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse. Your expertise in operating forklifts is essential to our daily logistics operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We emphasize a culture of safety, providing necessary training and expecting full compliance with PPE usage.
Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks and trailers.
- Safely transporting goods to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Performing daily inspections of forklift equipment and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must wear required PPE at all times when operating machinery or in designated areas.
