We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock.
- Packing and staging orders for shipment.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and PPE.
- Keeping a clean and organized work environment.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
