Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on warehouse machinery.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, in compliance with operational standards.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies, ordering replacements as needed.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring all staff use PPE correctly.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to address equipment needs and improvements.
- Support safe material handling practices and perform tasks involving Lifting and moving components.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of using PPE in a warehouse environment.
