Landscape Construction Foreman

Job Description

Middleton Southern is a high-end landscape design-build company specializing in custom outdoor environments, masonry work, irrigation systems, and detailed landscape installations.

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead a small crew and help deliver high-quality residential projects throughout the Columbia area.

This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on construction experience who can lead a crew, maintain quality standards, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Our projects include custom gates, brick columns, irrigation systems, landscape installations, grading, and outdoor carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small field crew (2–4 workers)
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities
• Read plans and execute layout measurements
• Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Train and mentor crew members
• Communicate project progress and needs with the owner
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
• Operate equipment when needed (mini excavator, skid steer, etc.)

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in landscape construction or related trades
• Experience leading or supervising crews
• Knowledge of hardscape, irrigation, grading, or carpentry preferred
• Ability to read plans and perform basic layout
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license required
