**About the Role
**As the EHSQ Manager, you will be a key member of the Littleconnell leadership team.
The EHSQ manager will be the line manager for two direct reports who are responsible for ongoing execution of quality and other aspects of governance.
In addition, you will collaborate with multiple teams to gain insights and share best practices, including the central Beer Governance team and Diageo Technical teams.Additional responsibilities include:
* Ownership of site Governance Strategy
- implementing a site wide plan for compliance.
* Accountable for site ISO accreditations (e.g.
ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) and compliance to relevant EH&S legislation (e.g.
IE Licence).
* Ongoing development of the H&S, environmental and quality management system, acting as governance contact for all management of changes, communications, and leading any statutory engagement.
* Building a compliance culture across site
- instilling an intrinsic link between governance and the day-to-day activities across the site and team.
* Accountable for the delivery of key governance related training programs.
**About you
**We are seeking an experienced people manager with a technical or science degree, or practical experience in EHSQ.
You’ll have strong attention to detail and analytical skills and the ability to think creatively to develop and embed work practices and approaches.In addition, you’ll bring:
* Minimum NEBOSH in Health and Safety and/or Environmental certification
* Working knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety and preferably some familiarity with Food Safety Legislation
* Experience working in ISO environments.
* Experience conducting internal audits.
* Experience managing budgets.
* IBD Brewing (advantageous).
* Understanding of IE License requirements
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and cross-functionally.
* Experience working with external bodies (Bord Bia, DOA, HSA, etc.)
