Role overview

We’re supporting a regulated manufacturing environment in Ireland that operates high-speed automated assembly lines and is looking to add experienced automation engineering support.


The role focuses on automation, system integration and troubleshooting across live production lines, helping maintain stable and compliant manufacturing operations.


Key responsibilities

  • Support and optimise high-speed automated assembly lines
  • Monitor and improve automated manufacturing processes in a production environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation and control issues across multiple lines
  • Support integration between OT systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Work with a range of measurement, inspection and force-related equipment
  • Support and interface with PLC-based automation platforms, including:

    • Rockwell / Allen-Bradley
    • B&R Automation
    • Siemens

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams to ensure consistent line performance
  • Automation experience within regulated manufacturing (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
  • Hands‑on exposure to high‑speed automated assembly environments
  • Working knowledge of PLC-based control systems
  • Experience supporting MES and OT-to-manufacturing system integration
  • Strong troubleshooting capability in live production settings

This is a site-based role in Ireland, suited to engineers comfortable working close to production equipment and supporting ongoing manufacturing operations. xcfaprz
