DevOps Engineer II

As a DevOps Engineer II at Toast, you will play a key role in shaping our cloud native infrastructure. You'll be part of the Infrastructure Engineering team, which is responsible for delivering the automation, tools, and cloud infrastructure that enable Toast teams to build and deploy products rapidly and securely. Your work will involve platform architecture, automation, and implementation of landing zones, as well as network and security infrastructure for new AWS regions.

• Work within a Scrum team to design, develop, document, and maintain infrastructure as code modules.
  
• Create, document, and support tools and services for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment of highly available infrastructure.
  
• Apply DevOps methodologies to promote a culture of quality and improve developer velocity.
  
• Implement unit tests for internal tools.
  

• 
  
• 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps/Infrastructure engineering role.
  
• Expertise with at least one public cloud computing platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  
• Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible).
  
• Experience maintaining large-scale infrastructure, including production and non-production workloads.
  
• Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and delivery of cloud infrastructure at scale.
  
• Commitment to building a diverse and inclusive team.
  
• This role requires 2 days per week in our Dublin office.
  

• 
  
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, Kotlin, or other modern object-oriented languages.
  
• Experience leading the build and scale of critical platform features.
  
• Familiarity with writing Terraform Providers.
