Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Florence, SC

A high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department in Florence, SC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for night shift coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for residency-trained EM physicians who thrive in a fast-paced trauma setting.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Emergency Medicine Residency Trained

• Active South Carolina medical license

• CSR and DEA (must remain permanently registered in South Carolina)

• Comfortable performing all Emergency Medicine procedures

• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages

• Night Shift Coverage: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Primary need on weekends

• Seeking shifts per month

• Fast-paced, busy ED with high patient acuity

• Level II Trauma Center

• Approximately 75,000 annual patient visits

• 81 exam rooms plus separate psychiatric holding area

• State-of-the-art trauma rooms, including a dedicated pediatric trauma room

• Dedicated Imaging and Laboratory Services

• Very low transfer rate

• 24/7 Physician staffing

• APP support 7 days per week

• Additional APP extenders and scribes

• Newly built Emergency Department (opened in 2021)
