Job Description Summary HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join our established, growing orthopedic practice in Effingham, Illinois. Located only 90 minutes from St. Louis and 3 hours from Chicago, enjoy suburban living with easy access to all of life s every day needs while also having the big city amenities within driving distance. St. Anthony Memorial Hospital is one of two hospitals in Illinois to have achieved The Joint Commission s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Certification. HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 350 providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern Illinois inclusive of a robust primary care referral base supporting our orthopedic practices. HSHS Medical Group is an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, which is a Catholic, non-profit integrated healthcare delivery system comprised of 13 hospitals across Illinois and Wisconsin guided by our mission and grounded in modern best practices. - Monday Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week
- 7 days per month of call
- Minimal after hours clinic call
- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated RN First Assist who will also be your dedicated RN in clinic
- Robotics available for surgical cases Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible, American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
- M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
- Ability and willingness to do shoulder cases is required
-Visa Sponsorship: H1B & J1 eligible Pay Range: $750,000
Final determination of a successful candidate s starting pay will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to experience within the industry.
