Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Europ Assistance Canada, part of Generali Group ( is looking for an Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our Travel and Assistance team in Canada, who can contribute to the building of local Canadian operations.
Europ Assistance ( is a global company, active in over 200 countries and territories in the delivery of our products and services.
The Canadian business unit will strategically focus its efforts on the Travel Insurance industry with the distribution of product offerings and associated service solutions to key stakeholders for their customers traveling abroad or with in Canada.
The position is based in Toronto, and the working environment is a mix of in-office and remote work, though always in close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide service to clients with existing policies as well as assist in new business generation.
- Provide support to our sales team in maintaining and growing servicing of existing policies profitable books of Travel Insurance
- Provide pre and on-trip advice.
- Demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Takes personal accountability for delivering superior client experience including effective problem solving.
- Responsible for communicating in a collaborative team with team members and managers.
- Interact with clients to provide clear and concise answers to their inquiries.
- Demonstrate commitment by taking ownership and accountability of the client and their inquiries.
- Protects the client’s privacy and confidentiality according to the established guidelines.
- Professional and positive attitude is required.
- Assist in other claims areas when required.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Post secondary education.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of travel insurance products.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating call volumes and ability to prioritize work to optimize efficiency.
Language Requirement: Fluency in French required.
Work Location: Toronto - Hybrid / Monday to Friday, 8 am – 8 pm (two shifts).
Total Compensation: $60k – 65k (salary plus 8% bonus)
