Role Overview
SilverCreek is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology projects across a diverse client portfolio. This role is ideal for a confident, hands-on project leader who is comfortable managing complex deliverables, engaging senior stakeholders, and operating in demanding consulting environments.
Note: This position requires the ability to be onsite 5 days per week, for a total of 40 work hours per week.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring consistent high-quality deliverables. In addition to project execution, this role includes managing client relationships for smaller accounts and supporting ongoing engagement and growth. The position may be structured as either full-time or part-time, depending on experience and availability. While the role is primarily remote, availability for occasional in-person meetings in Edmonton is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects, including data management, application development, and enterprise software implementation initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned engagements, building trusted relationships with senior directors and executives
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met
- Communicate project status, risks, and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, including status reporting, risk and issue management, decision-making frameworks, and approval gates
- Apply appropriate software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, based on project context
- Manage change control processes and support organizational change management where required
- Support smaller client accounts through relationship management, issue resolution, and identification of follow-on opportunities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Silver Creek’s project delivery standards, tools, and best practices
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent PMI designation is mandatory, or demonstrated project management experience exceeding twenty years
- Proven experience delivering projects involving software development, data platforms, or complex system implementations
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex deliverables within demanding, fast-paced environments
- Expertise in utilizing project management tools across the Microsoft 365 suite, including Project and Visio
- Working knowledge of modern technologies and delivery practices, including DevOps and release management
- Minimum of five years of experience managing technology projects

- Strong focus on customer service, delivery excellence, and long-term client relationships
- Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable, with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to executive and non-technical audiences
Desirable Attributes
- A background working in a consulting firm or within a large complex organization
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, including agile, scrum, and waterfall
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, data governance principles, or application modernization strategies
- Oversee DevOps practices, release management activities, and coordination between development, testing, and deployment teams
- Expertise with at least one of the following partner’s technology stacks (Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, MuleSoft)
