Your primary responsibilities will include using a handheld scanning device or pick list to locate and retrieve specified items, verifying product codes and quantities against order requirements. This is a key position within our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and speed while adhering to all company safety protocols. This job involves considerable physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to guide picking process.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory immediately.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE .
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills.
