We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Order Pickers to join our thriving warehouse team in Sacramento, California. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and gathering products to fulfill customer orders, which is fundamental to our logistics and customer satisfaction efforts. Your efficiency and precision are key to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks as assigned.
- The ability to perform consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs is required.
- Contribute to achieving daily order fulfillment goals within the context of our logistics operations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Undergo training to enhance picking accuracy, speed, and knowledge of safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting tasks throughout the shift.
- Willingness to strictly follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
