About
Our bustling warehouse in San Antonio, Texas, is looking for enthusiastic and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a strong adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements, utilizing RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory tasks such as cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- The ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs is a key aspect of the role.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals within the logistics framework.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to improve picking, packing, and safety techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
