About
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving and putting away inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will contribute directly to the efficient operation of our distribution center and play a key part in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. A strong understanding of warehouse processes and a willingness to learn new tasks are essential. Your contribution to our Logistics network is highly valued, and adherence to all Safety protocols is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
