Our Jacksonville, Florida distribution center is seeking reliable Order Pickers to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and efficiency are key to our operational success. Responsibilities:
- Use RF scanners and pick lists to accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse stock.
- Verify product details and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the staging or packing areas.
- Ensure that picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets for order picking.
- Report any stock discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels and order sheets.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
