This pivotal role involves overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and Safety across all logistics activities. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, optimizing storage, and coordinating the flow of goods in and out of the facility. You will play a crucial role in streamlining our supply chain and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to policies.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and storage strategies.
- Ensure all Safety regulations are followed, and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Manage the upkeep and operation of warehouse equipment.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Enforce the correct use of all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse optimization.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage physical tasks, including significant Lifting, and maintain high energy levels.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Commitment to ensuring the correct use of PPE.
