About
We are hiring a Forklift Operator in Fort Worth, Texas! If you have experience operating forklifts and a commitment to safety, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for safely moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in our warehouse. This position is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. You will perform daily inspections of your forklift, maintain a clean work area, and adhere strictly to all safety protocols. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move pallets, merchandise, and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report any issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and operating procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of logistics and material flow is beneficial.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
