We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods are handled safely and accurately, supporting our overall logistics and production processes. This position demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper segregation and placement of goods.
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials accurately in designated locations.
- Transport materials to production lines or packing stations as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure that all materials are handled in accordance with Safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Adhere strictly to the use of PPE and other Safety measures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with Shipping and Receiving functions as needed to support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Certification and experience operating forklifts and other relevant machinery.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 60 pounds).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
