About
Our Seattle, Washington location is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations within our warehouse. You will oversee and manage various warehouse functions, including inventory control, staff coordination, and operational **Safety**. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with management to optimize **Logistics** processes, improve productivity, and maintain a high level of accuracy. A strong focus on **Safety** compliance and team leadership is required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to take on more responsibility within our dynamic **Logistics** environment. Key duties include:
- Coordinating daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping.
- Managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensuring adherence to all **Safety** policies and procedures, and conducting regular **Safety** audits.
- Supervising and training warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Optimizing warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Monitoring equipment **Safety** and maintenance schedules.
- Assisting with **Lifting** and handling of goods when necessary.
- Ensuring all team members use appropriate **PPE**.
- Communicating effectively with other departments and external partners.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse **Logistics** and operations. Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role is essential. You should have a deep commitment to **Safety** and a proven ability to motivate a team. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must.
