Are you a natural leader with a proven track record in warehouse management? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This crucial role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, ensuring productivity, and upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your leadership will drive our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Ensure all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures are followed, with a strong emphasis on PPE usage and safe Lifting practices.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
  • Manage inventory control and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Oversee the scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments to meet logistics demands.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Experience with various types of material handling equipment and a thorough understanding of safe operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, including diligent use of PPE.
