Job Summary:
Become a key player in our distribution network as a Distribution Center Associate in Detroit, Michigan! Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to specifications.
  • Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and data entry.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Assist in other areas of the distribution center as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform significant Lifting (up to 50 pounds) and physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with warehouse equipment and technology, such as RF scanners.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus.
