Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and data entry.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist in other areas of the distribution center as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting (up to 50 pounds) and physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and technology, such as RF scanners.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
