In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Operate scanning equipment and update inventory systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety guidelines.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Ensure all required PPE is worn correctly at all times.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate lifting (up to 30 pounds).
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
