Job Summary:
Our Baltimore, Maryland facility is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of inventory management, including conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to Safety and operational excellence. We are dedicated to providing a secure and productive work environment, including the provision of necessary PPE and robust Safety training.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Process inventory adjustments, receipts, and transfers efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory items.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and flow.
  • Adhere to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, and maintain a Safe inventory environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical activity, including occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the consistent use of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
