Join our fast-paced logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to efficiently pick and pack customer orders with accuracy. This role is fundamental to our fulfillment operations, ensuring that products are correctly selected from inventory and prepared for shipment. You will utilize scanning technology and work closely with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy to ensure correct products and quantities are shipped.
- Label packages for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and warehouse environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or receiving.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting and moving of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Reliability and punctuality.
