About
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility, supporting our logistics operations. Your duties will include operating various material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and ensuring materials are readily available for production or shipping. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, a commitment to safety, and the physical capability to handle demanding tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
