Procurement Manager

As Procurement Manager, you'll oversee a broad portfolio SKUs in Ireland and the UK, managing relationships with 200+ suppliers and ensuring the smooth and cost‑effective flow of products that veterinary professionals rely on every day.

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement activities across two entities (Ireland and UK), ensuring optimal stock availability without over‑holding inventory.
  
• Produce accurate forecasting and demand planning to support strong margins and business performance.
  
• Build and maintain effective supplier relationships, including regular meetings and performance discussions.
  
• Monitor key procurement data, using Excel to analyse trends, stock levels, and purchasing patterns.
  
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent product availability and smooth operational processes.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally managing large SKU ranges.
  
• Highly skilled in Excel with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  
• Strong communicator who can confidently push back, influence, and challenge where needed.
  
• Comfortable working in a lean procurement function (currently a team of two) with autonomy and accountability.
  
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of margins and stock optimisation.
