A technology-driven organisation is currently delivering a large-scale infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud migration programme. They are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to support and take ownership of key elements of the migration from on-premise infrastructure to Azure.
This is a hands-on, senior-level role, suited to an engineer comfortable working in complex, business-critical environments and acting as a senior escalation point.
The Role
- Support and take ownership of enterprise-scale migrations from on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure
- Act as a Level 3 escalation point for infrastructure and cloud-related issues
- Work closely with internal Systems Administrators and the Infrastructure Design Architect
- Provide high-level support across cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Systems Administrator, IT Support Engineer, or Cloud Infrastructure xcfaprz Engineer
- Strong hands-on VMware experience
- Enterprise storage knowledge (NetApp preferred)
- Strong experience across Windows Server and Linux environments
- Proven experience supporting or delivering on-premise to Microsoft Azure migrations
