Auxilia Group Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of our client, a growing technology platform organization. This is a permanent fully remote opportunity.

Job Role:

  • Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
  • Produce timely, accurate and FRS 102 compliant financial statements and management reports, supported by clear analysis for the CFO, Leadership Team and Board.
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish VAT, PAYE, tax and all statutory obligations while providing expert guidance on technical accounting matters to keep the organization aligned with evolving standards.
  • Lead accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, bank reconciliations and treasury to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and reconcile all payment platform transactions and Euro inflows, including related FX impacts, to ensure accurate and complete revenue capture.
  • Own finance systems and data integrity, working with the CFO to ensure systems are fit for scale and complexity.
  • Lead process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives of processes and reporting to improve efficiency and control.
  • Support CFO in budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and strategic analysis.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • 5+ years post‑qualification experience, including experience operating as a Financial Controller (or in a senior finance leadership role with equivalent responsibility) within a scaling or technology‑enabled business.
  • Experience of working with an online company would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise.
  • Credible, dependable and trusted by the CFO.
  • Strong systems and process mindset with excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is an advantage. xcfaprz
