Role
The Professional Services Project Engineer is a critical role, responsible for ensuring that client projects are executed to the highest standards. This position involves translating client requirements into actionable technical tasks and working towards their execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Client engagement and requirement analysis – work closely with the Project Manager and clients to gather detailed requirements and understand their objectives.
- Translate client requirements into actionable tasks, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and specifications.
- Manage the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, coordinating tasks among team members and ensuring progress according to the project plan.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on resource allocation and address technical challenges to keep projects on track.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project, addressing issues and delivering solutions.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with technical specifications, including reviewing work and conducting testing and UAT.
- Maintain project documentation – requirements, technical specifications, and scope changes – to support transparency and future reference.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager, Professional Services Manager, and stakeholders.
- Actively seek feedback from clients and team members, implementing lessons learned to improve future projects.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of relevant technologies and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills – able to convey technical information clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Organisational skills – manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
