As the Lead Electrical Facilities Engineer, you will carry out complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role sits within Engineering and Technical Services and is responsible for delivering high-quality facilities support, maintenance, and repair services. You will lead a multi-skilled team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of facilities while providing an exceptional customer experience across client sites.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities Manager and on-site teams to ensure planned, reactive, and preventative tasks are completed effectively
- Oversee site technicians and planning/scheduling activities to ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out on building plant, equipment, and systems in line with service level agreements
- Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance activities comply with local legislation and internal procedures
- Adhere to the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in all engineering activities
- Ensure planned maintenance is delivered in accordance with standard operating procedures to maximise plant and equipment availability
- Provide technical support for projects and assist with project delivery
- Carry out small installation works and repairs to mechanical and electrical plant and equipment
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including toilets, urinals, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps
What You Need
- 3+ years experience in a Lead / Senior Technician role within xcfaprz Facilities
- Commercial facilities experience is essential for the position
- Reactive & PPM experience from a Lead perspective
- Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
