We are seeking an independent and experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Specialist to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands‑on expertise in S/4HANA technical development (including RAP), SAP security, and structured change management to support our transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition. This role will support technical stability, secure access management, disciplined transport processes via SAP Cloud ALM, and modern S/4HANA development standards. Exposure to analytics and integration technologies is considered an advantage.

• Provide strong hands‑on expertise in SAP S/4HANA technical development and support.
• Develop and troubleshoot ABAP enhancements and technical objects.
• Develop using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) aligned with modern S/4HANA standards.
• Analyze and extend standard CDS Views where required for reporting enablement.
• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms (if in scope).
• Support clean‑core principles within a RISE environment.
• Collaborate with functional teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Support performance optimization and technical issue resolution across the S/4 landscape.

• Design, build, and maintain SAP roles and authorization concepts.
• Ensure proper segregation of duties (SoD) and audit compliance.
• Manage Fiori business roles, catalogues, spaces, and pages.
• Align backend authorizations with CDS‑level data restrictions.
• Support structured user access governance processes.

• Manage transport lifecycle using SAP Cloud ALM.
• Support structured change approval and release processes.
• Ensure traceability from development through production.
• Assist in handling emergency and parallel changes.

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA technical development.
• Solid ABAP expertise (enhancements, troubleshooting, light developments).
• Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Understanding of CDS Views for analytical and reporting enablement.
• Experience with OData services.
• Experience with SAP Fiori activation and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SAPUI5.
• Experience with Fiori Elements for app development and lightweight extensions.
• Experience integrating SAP with external systems via APIs, IDOCs, BAPIs, or RFCs.

• 6–8+ years of SAP technical experience (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Experience supporting S/4HANA implementations or upgrades.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP security and role design.
• Experience managing transports in structured SAP landscapes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
