Exyte are now recruiting for an Lead Process Engineer to provide design leadership and engineering expertise during the planning and execution of design projects within Exyte’s Biopharma & Life Science business unit within Northern Europe & Israel.
The succesful candidate can be based in either our Cork or Maynooth offices.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Management of the Process Design Team during project phase(s)
- Collaboration with client design team/end user
- Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliersDelivery of agreed process design scope within budgeted hours and schedule
- Lead technical and safety reviews, provide technical input and support to Process design team
- Development of process solutions and process calculations e.g. hydraulic calculations and relief device sizing
- Design of process and utilities including preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
- Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices
- Support development of corporate and discipline specific procedures and policies
- Regular collaboration with global engineering
Show your expertise
- Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or other relevant degree
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in engineering and design as facilities/plant engineer or consulting engineer within biopharma, life science or related projects
- Required to be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Willingness for occasional travel
- Driving Licence + own transport
