Exyte are now recruiting for an Lead Process Engineer to provide design leadership and engineering expertise during the planning and execution of design projects within Exyte’s Biopharma & Life Science business unit within Northern Europe & Israel.


The succesful candidate can be based in either our Cork or Maynooth offices.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Management of the Process Design Team during project phase(s)
  • Collaboration with client design team/end user
  • Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliersDelivery of agreed process design scope within budgeted hours and schedule
  • Lead technical and safety reviews, provide technical input and support to Process design team
  • Development of process solutions and process calculations e.g. hydraulic calculations and relief device sizing
  • Design of process and utilities including preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
  • Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices
  • Support development of corporate and discipline specific procedures and policies
  • Regular collaboration with global engineering

Show your expertise

  • Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or other relevant degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in engineering and design as facilities/plant engineer or consulting engineer within biopharma, life science or related projects
  • Required to be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Willingness for occasional travel
  • Driving Licence + own transport
